Pomona Man Killed in Multi-Car Pileup on 10 Freeway near Euclid Ave in Ontario ID’d
Ontario, California (June 25, 2023) – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the name of the Pomona man killed in a multi-vehicle collision Sunday night in Upland.
31-year-old Gilbert Duran, Jr. was killed in the crash reported at around 8:07 p.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway just west of Euclid Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, as many as ten vehicles were involved in the pileup. Firefighters who responded to the incident had to extricate the victims trapped in the wreckage.
Authorities say more than a dozen people were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The crash impacted both directions of the 10 Freeway near Euclid Avenue,
No additional information about the deadly wreck was released.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
