Fresno, California (August 7, 2021) – Five people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was reported at around 3:12 p.m. Friday, August 6 at the intersection of West American Avenue and South Marks Avenue.

CHP said a Lincoln Navigator collided with another vehicle at the Fresno intersection under unclear circumstances.

2-Car Crash in Fresno Sends 5 to Hospital

Five patients were taken to the Community Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The names of the victims and their conditions were not immediately disclosed.

The intersection of American and Marks avenues was blocked while the investigation took place.
