Child Killed in Lucerne Valley Pedestrian Accident on Furst Street near Ox Bow Road

Lucerne Valley, California (November 10, 2023) – A child was fatally struck by a car on Furst Street in Lucerne Valley Friday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at around 3:40 p.m. on the 32000 block of Furst Street near Ox Bow Road.
A child was struck by a vehicle for reasons not yet established.
The San Bernardino County Fire and officers said they arrived at the scene and found a child unresponsive. Despite life-saving measures, the child died.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
More details regarding the wreck were not provided.
The wreck is under investigation.
