Woman Killed in Phoenix Pedestrian Accident near 27th Street and Broadway Road
Phoenix, Arizona (October 27, 2023) – A female pedestrian was killed in a crash early Friday morning near an intersection in south Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police, the collision happened at around 3:30 a.m. near 27th Street and Broadway Road.
A woman was crossing mid-block, away from any marked crosswalks, when she was hit by a car.
The unidentified victim was rushed to a hospital, where she was declared dead.
The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Impairment was not believed to have played a role in the wreck.
No additional information about the collision was provided.
An investigation is underway.
