At Least One Person Killed after Tucson Car Accident on Interstate 10 near Vail

Tucson, Arizona (September 25, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a crash involving several vehicles on Interstate 10 in Tucson late Sunday night.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the multi-vehicle crash happened September 24 on westbound Interstate 10 near Vail.

Authorities said multiple vehicles were involved in the incident, and it involved a wrong-way driver.

At least one person was killed in the wreck.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.

The crash impacted the westbound 10 Freeway for several hours.
