At Least 1 Killed in Portland Accident on Interstate 5

Portland, Oregon (October 27, 2023) – A deadly crash involving multiple vehicles happened in North Portland on Thursday afternoon, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

The accident occurred on Interstate 5 at  North Failing Street at about 3:30 p.m. October 26.

Police said the vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of I-5.

At least one party was pronounced deceased at the scene following the crash.

There was no update on other possible injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
