Male Cyclist Dies in Portland Bicycle Crash near Portland Road and Marine Drive

Portland, Oregon (September 19, 2023) – On Tuesday morning, authorities responded to a fatal bicycle crash near an intersection in North Portland.
According to the Portland Police, the collision happened just before 6 a.m. near North Portland Road and North Marine Drive.
For unknown reasons, a bicycle and a car collided near the intersection.
The unidentified bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The North Portland Road was shut down between North Marine Drive and North Columbia Boulevard.
The Portland Police Bureau’s Major Crash Team is investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
