The Oregon State Police said the mishap happened at around 2:58 p.m. October 17 on State Route 140 near milepost 31.
Jackson County, OR. – Fabiola Salcedo,42, of Dorris (CA), was killed and two other people were injured in a traffic collision that occurred on Highway 140 in Jackson County Thursday afternoon.
The Oregon State Police said the mishap happened at around 2:58 p.m. October 17 on State Route 140 near milepost 31.
Reportedly, an eastbound Chevrolet Colorado, operated by Salcedo lost control and spun into the westbound lane where it was struck by a westbound Subaru Forester, driven by 74-year-old Danny Ray Ebert of La Pine, on the passenger side.
Salcedo was declared deceased at the scene.
Danny Ebert and passenger, Phyllis Ann Ebert,77, of La Pine, both suffered minor to serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
No additional details regarding the mishap were provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
