The collision pushed the BMW onto the dirt where it struck the five stranded motorists

Riverside, CA. – Eulalia Cazares Barragan, 48, has been identified as the woman who died in a collision involving a suspected drunk driver on Saturday night in Corona.
The fatal collision happened around 11 p.m. on the westbound 91 Freeway, between McKinley Street and Promenade Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a BMW sedan and a Hyundai were stopped on the right shoulder for unknown reasons and all occupants were standing on the right shoulder dirt embankment.
A short time later, a westbound Nissan Altima driven by a 35-year-old Long Beach resident veered onto the right shoulder and hit the disabled BMW.
The collision pushed the BMW onto the dirt where it struck the five stranded motorists.
Barragan died at the accident scene.
The four other motorists suffered major injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Nissan driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
