Bakersfield, CA. – 89-year-old Estelita Vega Velasco of Delano has been identified as the woman who was killed in a car crash that happened in Delano on Saturday, May 25.
The fatal collision happened around 8:05 a.m. on the 100 block of Albany Street, according to the Delano Police Department.
A maroon Hyundai SUV driven by Velasco collided with another car in unclear circumstances.
Velasco was pronounced dead at the accident scene, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
