Multi-Vehicle Collision on SR-17 in San Jose Results in Minor Injuries

, CA. – An elderly woman was trapped in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in San Jose.

The California Highway Patrol said the pileup was reported just after 3 p.m. on State Route 17, just south of the Hamilton Avenue off-ramp.

Six vehicles were involved in the collision.

An elderly woman was stuck in one of the cars.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.

The report said only minor injuries were sustained in the crash but did not mention the number of people who were hurt.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
