Police said Kirk was splitting lanes when his 2020 Honda motorcycle collided with a northbound 2015 Peterbilt big rig
San Jose, CA.- The motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in San Jose last week on Thursday has been identified as Edward Kirk, 58, of San Jose, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The wreck happened in the 1100 block of Old Bayshore Highway at about 12:14 p.m. August 29.
Police said Kirk was splitting lanes when his 2020 Honda motorcycle collided with a northbound 2015 Peterbilt big rig.
Kirk fell off the motorcycle and was hit by the big rig.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the big rig stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
