One Person Killed, Two Injured in East Los Angeles Crash at Union Pacific Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard
East Los Angeles, California (August 23, 2021) – One person was killed, and two other parties were injured in a Sunday evening traffic accident in East Los Angeles, authorities said.
The deadly multi-vehicle accident transpired at about 8:00 p.m., on August 22, at Union Pacific Avenue and Atlantic Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles, including a black and white sedan and black pickup, were involved in the accident. It was not clear how the accident occurred.
Five parties were injured in the accident. Three patients were taken by ambulance to hospitals, and two declined further treatment.

Sadly, one of the patients was pronounced dead at the hospital.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
