The CHP said a 1993 GMC pickup truck was heading east on Highway 12 when he drifted into the path of a 2024 Ford Mustang and the two crashed
San Andreas, CA. – Dylan Butler, 22, of Copperopolis, was injured in a fatal collision in San Andreas on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 12 near Brauns Way on Sunday, September 1.
The CHP said a 1993 GMC pickup truck was heading east on Highway 12 when he drifted into the path of a 2024 Ford Mustang and the two crashed.
The driver of the GMC, John Bandy, 22, of San Andreas, and a passenger in the Ford, Faith Romero, 21, of Copperopolis, were both killed in the crash.
Butler, who was driving the Mustang, was taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries.
He was also cited for DUI.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
