Spokane, WA.- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Spokane on Friday night, according to the Spokane Police Department.
The incident took place at about 8:40 p.m. February 21, at Alberta Street and Heroy Avenue.
According to the report, Douglas Martindale, 66, was reportedly hit by a vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
Martindale was rushed to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver stayed at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
