Dominic Antonelli ID'd as Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Highway 121 near Wild Horse Valley Road in Napa County
Napa County, California (August 24, 2021) – The motorcyclist who died following a head-on collision with a pickup truck Saturday morning on a highway in Napa County has been identified as Dominic Antonelli, 72, of South San Francisco.
The deadly motorcycle accident happened at about 10:54 a.m. Saturday, August 21, on Highway 121 near Wild Horse Valley Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Antonelli was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson Road King southbound on Highway 121 when, for undetermined reasons, he drifted across the center median, directly into the path of a northbound 2008 Ford Ranger.
The motorcycle ultimately collided head-on with the truck, the CHP said.

Antonelli was airlifted to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The truck driver, a 43-year-old Napa man, who was wearing his seat belt, was uninjured.
