Inglewood, CA. – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has identified two people who died in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening in Playa del Rey.
The tragic collision happened on the 8800 block of Vista Del Mar, near Dockweiler State Beach, around 7:55 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered two cars that had collided head-on.
David Ceja, 17, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Hector Ceja Jr., 15, was transported to a local hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

Both boys attended Morningside High School. Firefighters had to extricate two people from the wreckage.
Two other people were hospitalized in critical condition. A fourth person was also transported and listed in fair condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
