Cyclist Dies in Washington County Bicycle Crash

Washington County, OR. – A bicycle rider was killed in a crash Monday morning in Washington County, according to a police report.

The Washington County Sheriff's said the wreck happened at around 11:30 a.m. on Roy Rogers Road

Reportedly, the bicyclist was riding north on Roy Rogers Road when they collided with a southbound vehicle on the road.

The cyclist was killed in the wreck.

The name of the deceased was not immediately released.

The road was closed between Southwest Beef Bend Road and Southwest Elsner Road for an investigation. Crews reopened the road at about 3 p.m.

More details about the mishap were not provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
