A white Toyota Camry was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on I-10 when it crashed into a motorcyclist
Phoenix, AZ.- Craig Cooper, 42, was killed in a motorcycle accident involving a suspected DUI driver in Phoenix on Sunday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place on I-10 near 43rd Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. September 22.
According to the report, a white Toyota Camry was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on I-10 when it crashed into a motorcyclist.
The rider, identified as Cooper, was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Camry, Andrew Ramirez Perez, 22, of Surprise, was arrested and booked into a Maricopa County jail on charges of second-degree murder.
Authorities said Perez was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The incident is under investigation.
