San Joaquin County, CA.- A construction worker was injured in a traffic collision that happened at a construction zone in San Joaquin County on Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Interstate 205 near El Rancho Road at about 10:30 p.m. August 19.
A bucket truck was parked in a construction zone along westbound I-205 when a car changing lanes crashed into it.
A worker who was in the truck was rushed to a hospital with major injuries.
The other motorist was also hospitalized with moderate injuries.
