At Least One Person Injured in Five-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 680 in Sunol
Sunol, California (August 11, 2023) – At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Sunol, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup happened around 5:15 p.m. on northbound Interstate 680 just south of the Andrade Road off-ramp.
Five vehicles, including a Ford Econoline van, a Cadillac Escalade, and a Honda Civic, were involved in the accident.
At least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.
