Tulare County, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly traffic collision involving two vehicles that happened Friday morning on Avenue 56 in Tulare County.
At about 11:51 a.m. Friday, November 17, Tulare County Fire Department personnel responded to reports of a traffic collision on Avenue 56, just west of Highway 43.
On arrival, the fire crews located a semi-truck and a silver Honda Accord at the scene. One person was unresponsive and the firefighters performed CPR on the victim.
According to the CHP, one person was killed in the incident. It was not immediately clear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
No additional details regarding the collision were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
