Two vehicles collided early Friday morning near Auburn Boulevard.
Sacramento, Calif. – One person died in a traffic collision that happened early Friday morning in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck was reported around 1:26 a.m. near 5013 Hemlock Street.
Responding officers found a Dodge Durango with major front-end damage and a second car involved in the accident.
Sacramento firefighters also responded to help the motorists.
One person was killed in the collision, the report said.
It was unclear if any other person was injured.
Officers are investigating to determine the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
