Glendale, AZ.– A child was critically injured in a collision that happened in Glendale on Thursday afternoon, according to the Glendale Police Department.
The wreck happened on 59th Avenue and Camelback Road at about 1 p.m.
According to police, a vehicle traveling westbound at the intersection collided with a second vehicle that was making a left turn.
A child in the second vehicle is believed to have been ejected by the impact of the crash.
The child was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
Another child in the same vehicle was transported to a hospital as a precaution.
No other injuries were reported.
Police reported that the westbound vehicle had a green light.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
