Boy Hurt in Berkeley Pedestrian Crash on Derby Street
Berkeley, California (November 2, 2023) – A boy was injured in a crash involving a hit-and-run driver in Berkeley on Tuesday night, according to the police.
The incident happened at the 1200 block of Derby Street just before 4:30 p.m. October 31.
Police said a 7-year-old boy was trick-or-treating in the area when a car, possibly a dark sedan, hit the boy.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with a broken leg, cuts and abrasions.
The driver failed to stop at the scene after the collision.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
