Newhall, CA. – A 14-year-old boy died after colliding with a car as he rode a motorcycle in Newhall on Saturday night.
According to a report by the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, the accident happened around 9:49 p.m. at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Oak Ridge Drive.
The teenager was riding a motorcycle northbound on Railroad Avenue when he collided head-on with an oncoming car.
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and rescued the boy from under the vehicle before he was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital where he died the following morning.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
