Police said Golonsky was struck by a driver heading east on Carson Street.

Long Beach, CA. – Benjamen Golonsky, 39, has been identified as the pedestrian killed in a traffic accident Friday last week in Long Beach.
The collision occurred at around 10:40 p.m. on June 14, at Carson Street and Gundry Avenue, east of Orange Avenue.
Police said Golonsky was struck by a driver heading east on Carson Street.
Golonsky was declared dead at the scene.
No more details concerning this crash were provided.
An investigation is underway.
