Upland police said Taylor was driving through the intersection when her car was hit by a speeding driver

Upland, CA. – Barbara Taylor, 83, of Rancho Cucamonga, was killed in a crash involving a DUI motorist in Upland on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Upland Police Department.
The collision took place at about 4 p.m. on October 2, on Euclid Avenue and 15th Street.
Upland police said Taylor was driving through the intersection when her car was hit by a speeding driver.
Taylor was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
Police said the other driver, Jose Ramirez, 25, was driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and booked on charges of murder and driving under the influence causing great bodily injury.
The investigation is ongoing.
