Man Killed in Bakersfield Crash on Chester Avenue and 2nd Street
Bakersfield, California (September 11, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a vehicle in central Bakersfield on Friday night, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The incident took place in the area of Chester Avenue and 2nd Street shortly before 8 p.m. September 10.
Police said a man was operating an off-road motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle in the area.

The man was pronounced dead at the site of the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
Police said the motorcycle did not have proper lighting equipment and was not road-worthy.
The collision is under investigation.
