Motorcyclist Injured in San Diego Accident on 15 Freeway at Highway 56

San Diego, California (November 9, 2023) – Authorities responded to a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway in San Diego Thursday afternoon.

The wreck was reported at around 2:48 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 15 just south of State Route 56.

A white pickup truck Chevrolet and a white and blue motorcycle were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the wreck were not immediately established.

The rider was lying down in the HOV lanes. His wife, who was an off-duty nurse was checking on him.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
