Authorities Identify Pedestrian Killed in Downtown Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California (November 9, 2023) – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office has identified William Connelly, 49, as pedestrian killed in Downtown Los Angeles Crash Thursday morning.

The California Highway Patrol received reports about a deadly auto-pedestrian crash at around 5:20 a.m. November 8 on the southbound Hollywood (110) near Harbor (110) Freeway.

Connelly was hit by one or more vehicles in the area in unclear circumstances.

Connelly was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Two southbound lanes of the freeway was blocked as officers investigated the wreck.

An investigation is underway.
