Authorities said a Mercedes collided with a BMW, and the impact caused the  Mercedes to overturn and land on its roof.

Los Angeles, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner on Monday identified a man and a woman who died in a multi-vehicle crash in the Baldwin Hills- Crenshaw area Saturday afternoon.

The Medical Examiner identified the two as 52-year-old David Coleman II and Karrington Coleman, 23, of Norwalk. Their relationship with one another was not immediately known.

Authorities say two other people were injured in the crash.

Los Angeles, Calif. – Authorities investigating are a double fatal multi-vehicle collision on W. Coliseum Street in the Baldwin Hills- Crenshaw area Saturday afternoon.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the deadly traffic collision happened at around 2:56 p.m. on 5048 W. Coliseum Street at La Brea Avenue.

Investigators said multiple vehicles collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances trapping two parties.

The trapped victims were extricated by firefighters using hydraulic tools. Unfortunately, they were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their identities were withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

More information about the collision was not provided.
