Costa Mesa, CA. – At least one person was killed in a Friday evening multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 405 in Costa Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred at around 6:31 p.m. on 405 Freeway at Fairview Road.
A black Chevrolet Suburban, a grey sedan, and a third vehicle were involved in the accident. The cause of the wreck was not immediately established.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles and was unresponsive. They had to be extricated.
At least one person died in the accident.
No additional details regarding the collision were available.
An investigation is ongoing.
