Riverside, CA. – At least one person died in a multi-vehicle accident involving a big rig that happened early Saturday morning in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported around 3:38 a.m. on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway near McKinley Street.
CHP said a black semi-truck with a white trailer, a black Honda Accord, a white Toyota Camry, and a white Lexus were involved in the crash.
At least one person died from injuries sustained in the collision.
It was unclear if there was anyone else who was injured.
Authorities closed three westbound lanes of the freeway following the accident.
