CHP officers responded to the scene and found a white Ford van and a red Toyota sedan involved in the accident.
Benicia, CA. – At least one person was injured in a car accident that also left all westbound lanes of Interstate 780 in Benicia shut down Wednesday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred around 11:05 a.m. just east of Southampton Road.

At least one person sustained unspecified injuries in the collision.
All westbound lanes of I-780 east of Southampton Road were closed following the crash.
CHP officers are investigating the crash.
