Temecula, CA.- At least one person was injured in a car accident in Temecula early Tuesday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The incident took place near Meadows Parkway and De Portola Road just before 6 a.m.
According to the report, a white Kia Soul and a white Tesla were traveling south on Meadows Parkway when they collided.
The Kia was pushed off the side of the roadway and it slammed into a tree in the median.
At least one person was transported by ambulance with unspecified injuries.
It's unclear whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
