Bakersfield, CA.- At least one person was injured in a collision that took place in Bakersfield on Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Kern Canyon Road and Shalane Avenue at about 1:37 p.m. December 6.
The CHP said a white Ford van and a grey sedan were involved in the accident on the westbound lanes of Kern Canyon Road.
Details on what led up to the accident were not immediately released.
At least one person sustained severe injuries.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
