CHP said a white Acura was traveling southbound on Reservation Road when it drifted into the northbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming grey Toyota
Monterey, CA.- Arthur Loring Schoenstadt, 81, of Salinas, has been identified as the man who was killed in a collision in Monterey on Sunday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Reservation Road near E Garrison Drive at about 5:05 p.m. October 6.
CHP said a white Acura was traveling southbound on Reservation Road when it drifted into the northbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming grey Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as Schoenstadt, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver was taken to Natividad Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
CHP said the Acura driver is expected to face DUI charges.
The accident is under investigation.
