Indio, CA.– Anthony Alvarado Lemus, 14, of Indio, has been identified as the teenager who died in a crash on Sunday evening in Indio, according to the Indio Police Department.
The wreck happened on Indio Boulevard at Fargo Street at around 5:23 p.m. September 1.
A sedan and two SUVs were involved in the accident, whose cause was not immediately released.
Lemus, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was killed in the crash.
There were other involved parties who were hospitalized with moderate to major injuries.
No further details were released.
The Indio Police Department is investigating the crash.
