Bakersfield, CA. – 49-year-old Anita Cecilia Hinojosa has been identified as the woman who died after being struck by a car on March 29 in Bakersfield.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of South Union Avenue and Hosking Avenue at around 2:32 a.m., according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
Preliminary investigation found that a light-colored vehicle was traveling northbound in the 7700 block of South Union Avenue when it struck Anita.
Anita died at the accident scene, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
