Three people injured in chain-reaction collision on Highway 108 near 5th Avenue in Jamestown identified
Jamestown, CA. – Authorities have identified three people who were injured in a car crash that occurred near Jamestown in Tuolumne County on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision was reported around 2:20 p.m. on Highway 108 near 5th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
76-year-old Ronald Ragsdale of La Grange was driving a 2018 Toyota 4Runner southbound on Highway 108 when he crashed into the rear of a 2019 BWM sedan driven by 54-year-old Andrea Souders of Chinese Camp.
The impact of the collision caused the BMW to crash into the rear of a 2013 Mercedes sedan being driven by 59-year-old Denay Neeley of Copperopolis which then rear-ended a 2008 Porsche SUV driven by 39-year-old Joseph Courtney of Newark.
Police say Souders, Neeley and Ragsdale suffered minor injuries in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
