Three people injured in chain-reaction collision on Highway 108 near 5th Avenue in Jamestown identified

Jamestown, CA. – Authorities have identified three people who were injured in a car crash that occurred near Jamestown in on Tuesday afternoon.

The collision was reported around 2:20 p.m. on Highway 108 near 5th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

76-year-old Ronald Ragsdale of La Grange was driving a 2018 Toyota 4Runner southbound on Highway 108 when he crashed into the rear of a 2019 BWM sedan driven by 54-year-old Andrea Souders of Chinese Camp.

The impact of the collision caused the BMW to crash into the rear of a 2013 Mercedes sedan being driven by 59-year-old Denay Neeley of Copperopolis which then rear-ended a 2008 Porsche SUV driven by 39-year-old Joseph Courtney of .

Police say Souders, Neeley and Ragsdale suffered minor injuries in the accident.
