1 Injured in Altamont Pass Motorcycle Accident on 580 Freeway near North Flynn Road
Altamont Pass, California (August 10, 2021) – One person was injured in a motorcycle accident in Altamont Pass on Monday morning, August 9.
The 8:39 a.m. crash happened along the westbound lanes of Interstate 580 Freeway near North Flynn Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle collided with an older Toyota Corolla in unclear circumstances.
The officers who responded to the incident found the rider down on the roadway.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
