A second person was transported to a local trauma center with major injuries
Riverside County, CA. – Adrian Mendez Ibarra, 28, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash that left another seriously injured on Saturday morning in Desert Hot Springs.
The fatal collision occurred in the area of Palm Drive and Camino Aventura at around 4 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles with major damage were recovered at the accident scene. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.

Mendez Ibarra, a resident of Desert Hot Springs, was killed in the accident, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
A second person was transported to a local trauma center with major injuries.
More details about the collision were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
