A preliminary investigation revealed Moreno was a passenger in a vehicle heading north on 35th Avenue.
Phoenix, AZ. – 48-year-old Abagail Lopez Moreno was killed in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday evening near an intersection in North Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the incident occurred at around 6:25 p.m. near 35th and Grovers avenues, between Bell Road and Union Hills Drive.
A preliminary investigation revealed Moreno was a passenger in a vehicle heading north on 35th Avenue.
As the vehicle was turning left at Grovers Avenue, it was struck by a southbound vehicle on 35th Avenue.
Moreno was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she later died.
Impairment was not believed to be a factor in this collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
