Lompoc, CA – Six people were injured following a Thursday afternoon multi-vehicle collision on Highway 1 in Lompoc.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck happened at around 5 p.m. on State Route 1 near the Santa Lucia Canyon Road offramp.
Four vehicles were involved in the mishap. However, the manner in which they collided was not immediately established.
One vehicle reportedly caught on fire after the collision.
Six people were injured, three of them suffered critical injuries, 1 with moderate injuries, and two others with minor injuries.
All the six unidentified victims were hospitalized for treatment.
More information regarding the accident was not provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
