Two cars collided and one of them was pushed into the canal, fire officials said
Sacramento County, CA.- Five people were injured in a crash that took place in Sacramento County on Tuesday, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.
The crash occurred on Elk Grove-Florin Road and Bridalsmith Drive.
Two cars collided and one of them was pushed into the canal, fire officials said.
Three people in the vehicle that was pushed into the canal were hospitalized.
One of the hospitalized patients had major injuries while the other two, who were minors, had minor to moderate injuries.
The two occupants of the other vehicle declined medical transport.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
