Both drivers and three passengers in the Hyundai were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Queen of the Valley Medical Center with minor injuries

St. Helena, CA.- Five people were injured in a car accident in St. Helena on Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened in the area of Silverado Trail and Zinfandel Lane at about 4:30 p.m. October 19.
The CHP said Tapa Mallick, 33, of Milpitas, was driving a 2024 Hyundai Tucson SUV on the Silverado Trail when she tried to make a turn onto Zinfandel Lane and collided with a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup traveling southbound on the Silverado Trail.
The Ford was being driven by Daniel Prada, 48, of St. Helena.
Both drivers and three passengers in the Hyundai were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Queen of the Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
