Solvang, CA. – Four people were injured in a traffic collision that happened Friday evening in Solvang, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported around 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Highway 246 near Skytt Mesa Drive.
Emergency personnel from the California Highway Patrol, the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, and American Medical Response responded to the scene.
The responders found a Kia and a Lexus involved in the accident. One of the cars overturned onto its roof, and the other overturned and landed back on its wheels off the highway.
A man and a woman suffered moderate injuries. The two patients, and two uninjured juveniles from one of the cars, were taken to Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital.
Another man declined treatment.
Highway 246 was closed as investigators worked the scene.
