4 People Injured in 4-Vehicle Crash on Pacific Coast Highway near Rambla Pacifico Street in Malibu
Malibu, California (March 25, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a Malibu crash that injured four people on Saturday afternoon.
The four-vehicle accident happened at about 1:45 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway at Rambla Pacifico Street.
According to the officials, one vehicle was struck by another while making a left turn, and two more cars became involved.
First responders reportedly arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the wreckage.
The officials said two patients were airlifted to a trauma center, and two patients were taken to a hospital by ground ambulance.
No injuries were reported in the third and fourth vehicles.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
