4 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 10 Freeway near Corn Springs Road in Desert Center
Desert Center, California (June 24, 2023) – Four people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Desert Center early Saturday morning.
At around 5:47 a.m., the California Highway Patrol and the Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene of a traffic collision on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Corn Springs Road.

At least five vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
Three people were trapped and had to be extricated by firefighters.
Two people were seriously injured and were airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
Two others suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
